The application boundary has moved

Applications now span data centres, clouds, APIs, edge locations—and increasingly AI systems.

The job is no longer simply balancing traffic. It is maintaining availability, identity, security and policy across an application estate that is distributed by design.

Specialist application-delivery engineering, applied to that wider problem: proven BIG-IP environments, modern security controls, cloud-native paths, automation and the new runtime risks introduced by APIs, models and agents.

From proven BIG-IP estates to the next application architecture.

Deep knowledge of the technology, its strengths and its limits. Matched with a clear understanding of what you need, how your environment works and how the landscape around it is shifting: new threats, new architectures, AI and agents.

Application delivery & resilience

Traffic management, global availability and failure-aware architectures for applications that need to remain fast and reachable across data centres and clouds.

Application & API security

Practical protection for web applications and APIs—from WAF policy and encrypted traffic to bot, DDoS and runtime risk controls.

Zero trust access & identity

Zero trust architecture for the application path: every request verified, for legacy and modern applications alike, with authentication, federation and context built into the path.

Platform modernisation

Architecture renewal, version and platform transitions, hybrid-cloud adoption and carefully managed change across the BIG-IP lifecycle.

Automation & visibility

Programmable traffic, repeatable delivery workflows and useful telemetry that make application infrastructure predictable to change and easy to observe.

Advisory & operational assurance

Lifecycle analysis: what to upgrade, downgrade or replace, when and why. Risk analysis and mitigations when a threat or incident appears. Health checks, architecture reviews, and ongoing advice as the environment changes.

The next application is already different.

An API, an agent, a model—or all three.

AI does not remove the application-delivery problem. It adds new traffic patterns, new data boundaries and new runtime risks. The infrastructure still has to be fast, available, observable and governed.

01

Secure the inference path

Reliable routing, rate and cost limits, policy enforcement and predictable performance between users, agents, APIs and models.

02

Control a larger attack surface

Application, API and identity controls for workloads whose inputs and behaviour are less predictable: prompt injection, data leakage and abuse by automated agents.

03

Preserve sovereignty and evidence

Know where traffic and data flow, keep policy consistent and retain the visibility required for audit and operations.

Senior people, directly involved.

Less distance.
More context.

The advantage of a specialist consultancy is simple: the people in the conversation know the technology, understand your environment, and carry out the work themselves.

  1. 01

    Understand the system

It starts with what you need: the application, its users, its trust boundaries, the consequences of failure, and the threat landscape around it. Not a product checklist.

  2. 02

    Make risks visible

Architecture, dependencies, responsibilities and the limits of the technology become explicit before a production change begins.

  3. 03

    Engineer the outcome

Senior specialists design and implement the work alongside your own infrastructure, security and application teams. Changes are typically built and tested in the lab first.

  4. 04

    Leave capability behind

Decisions are documented, operations are considered and knowledge remains with the people who run the environment.

  5. 05

    Stay alongside

Advice continues into operations: lifecycle recommendations on what to change, when and why, and risk analysis when threats or incidents appear. When the environment or the requirements change, the same specialists take a fresh look.

DCC specialist

SPECIALIST ROOTS / SINCE 1997

Specialisation is not a campaign. It is the operating model.

DCC's roots at the application-infrastructure layer reach back to 1997. It introduced F5 solutions to Finland and the Baltics, helped application delivery take hold across the Nordics, and has carried out demanding assignments for public-sector organisations and large enterprises in Finland and beyond.

“

when application delivery matters.

The DCC principle, since 1997
The responsibility hasn't changed. The surface has.

The technology has moved from dedicated data centres to hybrid clouds, APIs and AI. The durable requirement is unchanged: critical digital services must remain available, secure and operable when complexity rises.

DCC keeps its own lab, so solutions, upgrades and configurations are built and tested before they reach a customer environment.

DCC Labs, the company's small software-product side, is a different story, told at dcclabs.net.

07 Start with the real problem

What needs to be
reliable next?

A useful first conversation can start with an urgent production concern, a planned platform transition, an AI or agent rollout, an architecture question or an independent view of the current state.

Focused specialist work, clearly bounded—from a single critical change to a long-term advisory relationship.
