Privacy policy

Short version: this website sets no cookies, uses no analytics and loads nothing from other websites. If you email us, we use your message only to answer you.

Who is responsible

The data controller is DCC Data Communications Consultants Oy (business ID 1094668-4), Espoo, Finland. For anything about privacy, write to info@dcc.fi.

The website

dcc.fi is a set of plain pages, so there is nothing to consent to. The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes technical data needed to deliver the pages and protect them from attacks: your IP address, browser type and the page requested. We do not use this data to identify you. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure website (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).

If you email us

We use your message and contact details to answer you and to handle what you asked, including any assignment that follows. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering, or taking steps you asked for before or under a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(f) and (b)). We keep correspondence as long as it is needed for that purpose and for our legal obligations, such as accounting. Our email is hosted by Microsoft 365.

Service providers and transfers outside the EU

Cloudflare (website hosting) and Microsoft (email, Microsoft 365) process data on our behalf as data processors, under agreements that include the protections GDPR requires. Microsoft stores our email within the EU. If either provider processes data in the United States, the transfer relies on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. We do not sell or share personal data with anyone else.

Your rights

You have the right to see the data we hold about you and get a copy; to have it corrected or deleted; to restrict how we use it or object to our using it; and to receive it in a portable format. Write to info@dcc.fi. We make no automated decisions about you and do no profiling. You can also complain to the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi).

DCC Labs apps

Apps published under the DCC Labs name have their own privacy policy at dcclabs.net/privacy.

Changes

If this website changes how it handles data, we will update this policy first and change the date above.
